Set Your Captivity Free

Hello Lovelies!

I want to open your eyes to a tool the devil uses, because he uses the same trick everywhere, every time. He is not creative at all and he is not capable of switching things up to create an illusion of difference. He plays by the same book that he has been using since the beginning of time.

The devil preys on your ignorance of a few things:

1.Your ignorance of who you are in Christ Jesus,

2. Your ignorance of the power you carry

3. Your ignorance of the efficacy and potency of the person of the Holy Spirit who lives in you and empowers you

4. You ignorance of the application of that power that your possess.

The devil has a habit of making it seem like he has power enough to hold you down in a bondage created by him through any means necessary. And you in turn empower him because of your lack of knowledge.

James 1 v 5; if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. Prov 4 v 7; wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom, in all your getting, get understanding.

If you do not have adequate knowledge of who you are in Christ Jesus, the devil will make a captive of your soul and he will convince you that there is no way out. The devil will prey on your lack of wisdom to apply the person of the Holy Spirit that Jesus has given to you and your inability to evoke that ability will make the Holy Spirit in you powerless.

God can redeem and restore completely everything that the devil has stolen from you. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all. And there is no captivity that the enemy can have you in as long as you know the promises of God in your life.

Is 49 v 24 - 26;  Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captives of the just be delivered? For thus says the Lord: Even the captives of the mighty will be taken away, and the prey of the terrible will be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will give safety to your children and ease them. And I will make those who oppress you consume themselves [in mutually destructive wars], thus eating their own flesh; and they will be drunk with their own blood, as with sweet wine; and all flesh will know [with a knowledge grounded in personal experience] that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

The second part of verse 24 asks; or the lawful captives of the just be delivered? Which means sometimes the captivity could be justified based on something you have done in the past. But God is saying, even the captive of the mighty shall be taken away. 

This year, God will set you free from every captivity that the enemy has ensnared you in but you MUST gain knowledge of who you are in Christ Jesus. You must know the power you carry and command the devil.

You must take control of your life and give it to God allowing Him to be the captain in your life.
